Soulbound
(Made solo in 3 days for Winter MelonJam 2023, so it's not very complete currently >﹏<)
Any bug fixes / updates while this message is present will be Windows only, due to the game jam rules. v0.1.0 will stay as the WebGL version and available to download until the judging is completed
You play as a witch who needs to restore order to the local forest. Win the monsters over to your side with your charm ability, or go on the offensive and take them out.
Instructions / Controls
- Attack the enemies with a variety of unique skills, and use your unique charm ability to farm your admirers for their resources
- Charm [space], wins over enemies in a small radius around you, turning them into your very own cheer squad, which you can then use as fuel for other abilities.
- Runic Word [LMB], your basic attack, attack a small area in front of you for a small amount of damage, use mouse to aim
- Dash [RMB], mobility ability, temporarily increases your speed, allowing you to dash out of range of enemies
- Recover [1], restore a small amount of health, costs 2 health charms
- Da Bomb [2], explode a small area around you for medium damage, costs 1 attack charms
- Cupid's Shot [3], long ranged attack for medium damage, costs 1 attack charm and 1 omni charm, use mouse to aim
- Heartbreaker [4], big AoE explosion for high damage, costs 6 attack charms
- Charms are created when you win over enemies with your charm ability. Each enemy drops different charm combinations
- Abilities require a combination of charms to be spent per use. There's health (green) charms and attack (red) charms as well as omni (white) charms which can be substituted for the other two in a pinch
